My story
Ciera Eastin is a curious, smart, 6 y/o, 8 lbs Maltese. Since being transported to NYC, she’s been working on getting used to her foster home. Ciera is a great WFH buddy. Doesn’t bark or disrupt me during the day. She’s as happy as can be sleeping in her fluffy bed. She’s also great at sleeping in her crate throughout the night... does not wake up at all. Ciera has been awesome with her two foster dog sisters, but is still very scared of humans. For now, she doesn’t like being picked up or even getting too close to humans, but I’m confident this will change once she realizes she’s in a safe space. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, but she’ll pick it up quickly with a bit of patience. This sweet girl will thrive with parents that will have the patience to train her and give her all the love she needs and deserves.Personality & Characteristics:My foster dog is good with: DogsMy foster dog is: Low shed3 Keywords for your pup: Curious, smart, quietEnergy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 3Barker? ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States
