Adorable 9 mo old lab mix Flora in danger@NYC kill shelter for sale in Manhattan, New York

A volunteer writes: How not to fall in love with a little girl who aims right for your lap when you take her off the leash? Miss Flora is just like that. Enthusiastic, super friendly, sociable and affectionate. She is still a puppy after all at 9 months of age! She is so pretty too in her shiny ebony dress. Her eyes sparkle with mischief. Her smile is radiant. She is an animated picture of youth, life and health. Flora does not like her kennel. She was not born to be in there but to be freeto play with people and other dogs. In playgroup with her peers, she runs wildly, trying to make the most of her freedom and enjoy her new friends. Like any youngster, Flora, whose short life story is not known, will need basic training, patience and commitment on the part of her new owners to make of her the best pet one can ever dream of. Flora is waiting for you, is counting on you. She wants to be your best friend and your devoted student. Come soon at the Manhattan Care Center and ask for Miss Flora.
