Open face 18k yellow gold case measures 57mm with guilloche case back. Semi-skeletonized dial w/ lavish golden animal & foliage themed decorative embellishments done in relief. Blued steel hands indicate time on central white enamel ring with black Arabic numerals and a black painted outer minute rail. Jacquemart automaton featuring two figures resplendent in Greco-Roman dress bracket the sides of the dial and strike the decorative bell at the 12 o'clock position in turns, chiming out the hour and quarter hours. Harvest, flower and pheasant motifs in gold on a blued steel background decorate two panels at the 6 o'clock position. These panels part with the push of a lever at base of the watch case, revealing a hidden erotic Jacquemart automaton of a man and woman in strategically removed and re-arranged period dress engaged mid-coitus on a chaise lounge.
